Summer/Fall
2008, I
hope everyone enjoyed the summer, and I hope you are ready to get back to working out. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and to seeing new faces. I expect great things from you this year; I anticipate your growth and development as martial artists and I look forward to promoting you further in the
U.K.A. system. I expect a great commitment and dedication in order for you to excel in knowledge and technical skill. There will be lots of new and exciting changes coming this year that will greatly benefit all students. Looking forward to working with each one of you.

Winter
2007, As we move forward into the New Year I wanted to encourage you, and tell you how well you are all doing in your patterns, and in your technical skills. Martial
arts takes dedication, determination, experience, and humility. These are the key ingredients in becoming a true Martial artist.
I am expecting great things for our School and for you in the coming months. I know how busy life can be and how we seem to lose track of time, but I ask all of you to try to come out to all your classes and if you absolutely have to miss a class, or your class is cancelled, please make it up on another class night. It is so important to be consistent in attending your classes so that you can be the best martial arts student, and achieve your goals.

Summer
2006, As the summer approaches I wanted to personally thank all of my Black Belt Instructors for their help and leadership this past
year: May, Darlene, Cathy, Frieda, Vicki and Instructor
Stennett - Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Thank you to Angie for making sure we had the Community Center in Sauble to hold our classes
when the gym was booked. And I want to say thank you to all of the students at UKA for your commitment, all of you have excelled in martial arts and I look forward to working with everyone in September.
Be sure to keep checking our web
site - Thank you to our web lady Elaine for all her help, talent and expertise.
Enjoy the summer - don’t forget to train and practice your patterns for our Fall Tournament of Champions. See you all in September.

Spring
2006, I wanted to take this
opportunity to speak to all of you - my students. I am very
proud of you, your hard work and your dedication. I would also like to take
this opportunity to thank
Instructor Stennett for the great job you do overseeing the
Ballinafad
School. I am proud of all my students; you are all hard
workers and very dedicated. I am very proud of all my Black
Belt students; you are great leaders.
The
students at the Sauble Beach school are excellent and moving
into leadership. This school is filled with many future Black
Belts and beyond because of your ability to learn. You have
excellent technical skill, are teachable and humble in your
attitudes. I am thankful for the
Community's support and I look forward to the future of this
school and where we will go. I
have
noticed that all the schools are filled with enthusiastic
students who are excited to learn the art of Kung Soo Do.
There is a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at the schools;
no student feels out of place.
I am proud
of you, my students, of all that you have accomplished and all
that you will accomplish in the future!
“You
are important - you owe it to yourself!"
